Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Dee1Games (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, shares and protects information across every mobile game and application we publish (each a “Product”, together the “Products”). Our Products are listed in Annex 2. Each of them also publishes a policy of its own that names what that Product specifically bundles; where the two differ for a given Product, the Product’s own policy governs.
I. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
1. Information you give us
Our Products can be used without registering an account. You only provide information when you choose to: a nickname or avatar you set inside a Product, the content of feedback or bug reports you submit, and the email address you write from when you contact our support address.
2. Information collected automatically
To make a Product run and to keep it working correctly, we and our service providers may collect:
- Device and system information: device model, operating system and version, screen resolution, system language and region, and available storage.
- Identifiers: a resettable advertising identifier and/or an installation identifier generated by the Product. We do not collect permanent hardware identifiers such as IMEI.
- Network information: IP address and the general geographic region derived from it, and connection type.
- Usage information: level progress, scores, settings, session start and end times, and features you use.
- Diagnostic information: crash stack traces, error logs and performance metrics.
What any single Product actually collects is the subset of the above that it needs. The SDKs that do the collecting are named in Annex 1, and per-Product in each Product’s own policy.
3. Why we collect it
We use this information to run and display our Products, save and restore your progress, adapt the interface to your device and language, diagnose crashes and fix defects, detect cheating and abuse, and understand in aggregate how our Products are used so that we can improve them.
4. What we do not collect
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, including government identification numbers, biometric data, precise geolocation, health records, contact lists, call logs, SMS content, or financial account credentials. Please do not include such information in feedback you send us.
5. Advertising
Our Products are free to use and are funded by advertising. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob and its advertising partners, who may use the advertising identifier described above, your IP address, and information about how you interact with an ad in order to select what to show you and to measure whether it worked. The full list of partners is shown inside the consent form described below, and the SDKs themselves are listed in Annex 1.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Product asks for your consent before any of this happens. The form is shown by Google’s User Messaging Platform the first time you open it, and you can consent, refuse, or manage each purpose and each advertising partner individually. Nothing is shared for personalised advertising until you have made a choice. (Whether refusing is a button on the first screen or sits under Manage options differs between Products; each Product’s own policy says which.)
You can change your mind at any time. Open the settings inside the Product and choose Privacy options to reopen the same form. Where the law does not require a consent form, that entry is not shown. You can also reset or opt out of the advertising identifier entirely in your device’s system settings, which limits ad personalisation across every app on the device.
If you refuse, or where consent is unavailable, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised — selected from general context rather than from your interests.
On iPhone and iPad, a Product asks for permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before the advertising identifier (IDFA) can be read. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the identifier is not available to us or to our advertising partners, and you can change the answer at any time under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking on your device.
6. Purchases
Some Products offer optional in-app purchases. Payments are processed by the app store you installed from — we never see or store your card number, billing address, or any other payment credential. What reaches us is the identifier of the product you bought and the store’s purchase token, which we use only to deliver the item and to avoid delivering it twice.
II. Rules for Our Use of Your Personal Information
We use your personal information only for the purposes described in this policy. If we ever need to use it for a purpose not covered here, we will ask for your consent first.
We may produce statistics that are aggregated or de-identified so that they can no longer be linked to any individual — for example, the total number of players who completed a level. Such statistics are not personal information and may be used or published without further notice. We do not sell your personal information.
Legal bases. Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or a similar law applies to you, we rely on the following grounds. We process the data needed to run a Product, save your progress and deliver what you purchased because it is necessary to perform our agreement with you. We process crash diagnostics, abuse detection and aggregate usage statistics on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping our Products working and improving them, having weighed that interest against your rights. We process data for personalised advertising, and for any purpose you were separately asked about, on the basis of your consent — which you may withdraw at any time, from the settings inside the Product or from your device’s system settings, without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it.
III. How You Access and Control Your Information
You may, at any time:
- View and change the nickname, avatar and settings stored in a Product.
- Reset or limit the advertising identifier through your device’s system settings.
- Withdraw a permission you previously granted by turning it off in system settings. Some features may stop working as a result.
- Delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the Product.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete information we hold about you by writing to support@dee1games.com.
We reply to such requests within 30 days. We may ask you for information that lets us verify the request comes from you before we act on it, and we may decline requests that are unreasonably repetitive or that would infringe the rights of others.
If the GDPR or a similar law applies to you, you additionally have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have data erased; to have our processing restricted; to receive the data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable form; to object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest; and to withdraw a consent you previously gave. Exercising any of these rights is free, and we will not treat you differently for doing so. Write to support@dee1games.com and name the Product your request concerns.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the EEA, the data protection authority of the country where you live or work; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would rather you came to us first so that we can put the matter right, but you are not required to.
IV. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information
We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:
- With your consent. Where you have explicitly agreed to the sharing.
- With service providers. We use providers for cloud hosting, crash reporting and usage analytics. They may process information only on our instructions, only to the extent needed for the service they provide, and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- With advertising partners. The advertising SDKs listed in Annex 1 receive the advertising identifier (where available and permitted), IP address, device and app information and ad interaction data, in order to show ads, limit how often you see the same one, measure their performance and prevent ad fraud. Where consent is required, this happens only within the choices you made in the consent form described in Section I.5.
- In a business transfer. If a Product or our business is merged, acquired or reorganised, information may pass to the successor, which will remain bound by this policy or ask for your consent afresh.
- Where the law requires it. To comply with a law, regulation, court order or lawful request from a competent authority, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or the public.
We do not publicly disclose your personal information except with your consent or where we are legally required to do so.
V. How We Store, Protect, and Manage Your Information
Retention. We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes set out in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law. When the period ends, we delete the information or process it so that it can no longer be associated with you.
Storage. Information is stored on servers operated by us or by our cloud providers. Where information is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it continues to receive protection consistent with this policy.
Security. We protect information in transit with encryption, restrict internal access on a need-to-know basis, and review our security practices periodically. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Incidents. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify affected users and the competent authorities in the manner and within the time limits required by applicable law, and describe what happened and what you can do.
VI. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our Products are applications rather than websites, so they do not use browser cookies. A Product stores a small amount of data locally on your device — your settings and progress, and the identifiers described in Section I — so that it can resume where you left off and so that we can measure performance and detect abuse. You can clear this data by clearing the Product’s storage or uninstalling it.
This web page itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts.
VII. Emails and Information We Send to You
We may send in-Product notices about service changes, maintenance, or updates to these terms. Push notifications, where a Product offers them, can be turned off in your device’s system settings at any time.
We send email only in reply to a message you sent us, or where an essential service notice cannot reasonably be delivered inside the Product. We do not send marketing email to addresses collected through support requests.
VIII. Third-Party Services in Our Services
Our Products may contain software development kits (SDKs) supplied by third parties, and links to third-party destinations such as app stores or social networks. When you use those services, your information is handled under their privacy policies, not this one. We do not control how they collect or use data and are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any third-party service before you use it.
The SDKs used across our Products are listed in Annex 1. Which of them a given Product actually bundles is stated in that Product’s own policy.
IX. Protection of Minors
Our Products are not directed at children under the age of 13, or under the equivalent age set by the law of your country. If you are a minor, please use them only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and ask them to read this policy with you.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without such consent. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly. A parent or guardian who believes we hold information about their child may contact us at support@dee1games.com and we will act on the request.
X. Scope of Application of This Policy
This policy applies to every game and application published by Dee1Games and to the support we provide for them. It does not apply to products or services operated by third parties, even where they are reached from inside one of ours.
Each Product also publishes its own policy, which names what that Product bundles and how it behaves. Those policies are linked in Annex 2 and from each Product’s store listing. Where a Product’s own policy differs from this one, the Product’s policy governs for that Product.
XI. Modifications to This Policy
We may revise this policy as our Products evolve or as the law changes. The Effective Date shown at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give prominent notice inside the affected Products before the change takes effect.
Continuing to use a Product after a revised policy takes effect means you accept it. If you do not accept the revision, please stop using the Product.
Annex 1: Third-Party SDKs
The following SDKs are used in one or more of our Products. A Product’s own policy names the ones it actually bundles.
- Google AdMob — Serving banner, interstitial, rewarded video and app-open advertising, and choosing in real time which ad network fills each ad. Data processed: Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS only if you allow tracking), IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with the ads. Privacy policy
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — Collecting and recording your advertising consent choices in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. Data processed: Your consent choices, stored on your device. Privacy policy
- Pangle — An advertising network that bids, through Google AdMob, to serve ads in the Game. Data processed: Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS only if you allow tracking), IP address, device model, operating system, language, network type, and how you interact with the ads. Privacy policy
- Unity Ads — An advertising network that bids, through Google AdMob, to serve ads in the Game. Data processed: Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS only if you allow tracking), IP address, device model, operating system, language, network type, and how you interact with the ads. Privacy policy
- TikTok Business SDK — Bundled by Pangle on iOS, which uses it to measure the delivery and performance of the ads it serves. Data processed: Advertising ID (only if you allow tracking), device and app information, and ad events such as impressions and clicks. Privacy policy
- Google Analytics for Firebase — Understanding in aggregate how the game is played so that we can balance and improve it. Data processed: A resettable app instance identifier, gameplay events, device model, operating system, language and approximate country. Privacy policy
- Firebase Crashlytics — Diagnosing crashes and errors. Data processed: Crash stack traces, device model and state, operating system version. Privacy policy
